September 2nd, 2009 @ 3:00pm PDT will mark the one-year anniversary that Perfect World International has been open to the public. For those who have been around then and even before (in closed beta), what's your opinion on the game thus far? What adventures have you had in the first year of operation, and what are you looking forward to in the next year(s) to come?

I remember stumbling upon this game by chance on opening day, and have been hooked ever since. This was my first mmo since 2003, and I must admit, the free-to-play offer reeled me in. But the ability to fly anywhere, the character customization, and the adventures in lowbie pvp, fighting bosses, and shiny weapons made the game pretty fun for me.

I'm glad I started making TW videos last year to look back upon my adventures, lol. It's funny seeing the names of those I used to play with/against and reminisce about the good ol' days when gold was selling for 100k and TWs were regularly 3 hours long (go UnLimited!)
